Tracy does 295 reps in the SSST!

This was the first time she tried this challenge. She has done 140 reps in the five minute version. This is just an unbelievable performance! This clip is from minute 8 to 9!She's already been snatching for 8 minutes!

Crazy woman 'finshed' her workout with another 30 minutes of kb work including another 5 sets of 20 each arm in the SNATCH! Now I have been known to be excessive in my love for volume training but even I have to take my hat off to that kind of conditioning.

First I saw this, I thought this was the first 20 or 30 reps. Surprised that it's late half of two hundreds.
First rep and last rep must exactly look the same ?

You two could operate your cars on that energy. Now where is the technology when you need it?

yes takei, the first and last half were the same except she started SPRINTING even fastr from where the clip leaves off to the 295. she did the last 20 on the right side.

Just INSANE man. I can't even fathom that level of work, like I lways said she would work most humans right into the ground.

OH HELL! I just watched the vid. nary an energy saving technique in there that I could recognize. She even looked like she was pulling the bell down. I'm just speachless.

Hardstyle, baby. And she was moving that bell pretty fast.

I said it on her blog, and I'll say it on yours...

HOLY SHIT!

you must mean no pause because she absolutely locks her elbows. you must be a GS guy eh?

Jim,

first off, its rude to have "no lockout" as your first comment on your first visit here, without even a congrats on the ( incredible) accomplishment.
second, her reps are locked out they are just not stopped and paused overhead.Pause it when her arm is overhead and tell me I'm wrong.
Pavel was talking about reps around 315 being the top end of what could be considered legit.that leaves her 20 reps to go.
and you are wrong, you dont have to slack off on what a rep is, you just cannot pause them at the top.If the arm is not overhead or the elbow is not locker is a different story.

oh yeah, whats your SSST and GS numbers?

easily. I can lockout my arms in a bench press movement and not pause at the top too.lock out refers to the postition of full flexion of the shoulder and full extension of the elbow.
Stopping at the top in a locked out position, for however long, is a different subject. If the rules of a specific test say it has to be paused for it to be legit, even for a half count or whatever, then thats a different story.
but getting the arm straight overhead IS locking it out.
